About us

SALIDÚN, Berber word used by desert dwellers to designate some of the species that inhabit it, including Desert Sparrow (Passer simplex). We consider this bird a symbol of the country and one of the ornithological jewels that we can find in the south, in the Sahara desert.

Salidún Morocco Birding Tours was founded with the aim of offering ornithological trips in Morocco. Our expertise has allowed us to set up several tours covering all the different species of birds in this area.

Our experience in Morocco began with our first tours of exploration in North Africa in 2007, and since then we have made multiple trips to search and study the birds of this wonderful territory, where a wealth of birds has been discovered.

Our tours are based on experience where birds are the stars, and meet the highest possible expectations. This rich bird life is in turn fuelled by the magic of the landscapes, the generosity of the people and types of habitat and climate.

Salidún Morocco Birding Tours believe in nature tourism as one of the basic pillars of a sustainable development for a country trying to evolve, constantly struggling to maintain that perfect balance between development and conservation. Today Morocco still has its three main habitats of coast, desert and mountain unspoilt for the enjoyment of the visitor.
